Static Control recently released redesigned replacement chips for use HP® 932/933 and 950/951 ink jet cartridges. The new ultra-thin design allows remanufacturers to easily install the chip without the use of specialized tools or modifying the cartridge, and eliminates potential for damage to the printer contacts.
These cartridges are used in popular HP printer offerings such as the Officejet® 6100, 6600, 6700, 7100 and 7600 series of printers and the Officejet Pro 200, Pro 8100 and Pro 8600 series of printers. While ink jet solutions have declined in recent years, HP has made a strong push for ink jet printers to be used in the office environment and has been gaining traction according to some industry analysts.

The trio of consumer-goods fairs in Frankfurt am Main – Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld 2014 – closed their doors today after a successful run during which they generated a veritable host of positive impulses for the new business year. “Despite the difficult economic climate prevailing in the sector, the three fairs more than held their own with constant visitor numbers. Altogether, over 83,300 visitors from 154 countries (2013: 83,206 from 145 countries) made their way to Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre to see the latest products and trends, and to place their orders for the coming business year”, said Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, summarising the results. In particular, there was an increase in the number of international buyers at all three events. “The high degree of interest and the large number of orders placed by visitors from outside Germany confirm that Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld are the leading international trade fairs for their individual sectors”, added Detlef Braun. Altogether, 60 percent of visitors came from outside Germany (2013: 58 percent).
